STEP 1: PREPARE
Soak the seeds in warm water for about 2-3 hours, remove and cover with a damp paper towel. When the pumpkin seeds sprout white, sow them in soil pots or nursery trays.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 2: SOWING THE SEEDS
Look for seeds that germinate to a depth of 0.3-0.5 cm. When the plant is 7-10 cm tall, the stem is strong, and has 3-5 large cotyledon leaves, transfer the plant to a large pot for planting.
Step 3: Harvesting
🌱 After 70–90 days, when the black pumpkins are fully round, the outer skin turns dark black, and the stem becomes firm and dry, they are ready for harvest.
✂️ Use a sharp knife or scissors to cut the pumpkin from the vine, leaving a short stem attached to help keep the fruit fresh longer. Avoid pulling by hand to prevent damaging the plant.
📆 Harvest regularly when fruits mature to encourage the plant to continue growing and producing more pumpkins throughout the season.
