Soak the artichoke seeds in warm water for 10–12 hours to soften the shell and stimulate germination. Use loose, well-drained soil mixed with organic compost for better nutrition.
Sow the seeds about 0.5–1 cm deep, cover lightly with soil, and water gently. Place the pot in a spot with soft light, keeping the soil moist but not waterlogged.
Water regularly but moderately to keep the soil moist. When seedlings grow 15–20 cm tall, transplant them into larger pots or directly into the garden for strong growth and budding.
