Step 1: Sow seeds

💧 Soak the okra seeds in clean water for 4–6 hours, then incubate for 10–12 hours until they begin to germinate. After that, sow them directly into moist, loose, and well-drained soil.
🌱 After 5–7 days, the seedlings will grow 2–3 leaves and enter a healthy early growth stage, helping the plant establish strong roots and stems.
🌿 Apply organic fertilizer or compost at this stage to support vigorous growth, improve plant health, and prepare the plant for abundant okra pod production.

Step 2: Care for the Plants

☀️ Ensure adequate sunlight – Grow okra in a location with full and consistent sunlight to promote healthy flowering and strong pod development.
💧 Water regularly – Keep the soil evenly moist, but avoid letting it become too dry or waterlogged.
🌱 Fertilize every 2–3 weeks – Apply organic fertilizer or a balanced plant feed to support steady growth and abundant okra production.
🐛 Simple pest monitoring – Check regularly for pests such as caterpillars, aphids, or beetles, and treat them promptly using safe organic methods.

Step 3: Harvesting 

🌱 After 45–55 days, when the okra pods are young, tender, and about 8–12 cm long, they are ready for harvest. Picking at this stage gives the best texture and flavor.

✂️ Use a sharp knife or scissors to cut the pods from the stem carefully. Avoid damaging the main stem, branches, or new flowers so the plant can continue producing more pods.

📆 Harvest every 1–2 days by picking the tender pods regularly. Frequent harvesting helps encourage continuous flowering and gives you a longer, more abundant yield.
